Techno® Electric Blue Lobelia

Techno® Electric Blue is a mounding, spreading lobelia with vivid blue flowers. [Syngenta’s product page](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70003827) lists a 6–10 inch height, an 18–22 inch spread, and flowering from early spring into summer. ## Growing conditions Choose full sun or part sun and keep the soil evenly moist while allowing excess water to drain. [NC State Extension](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/lobelia-erinus/) notes that Lobelia erinus is usually grown as an annual and gives its strongest display in cool spring weather; hot, humid conditions may interrupt flowering. ## Garden use Use this compact selection in containers, hanging baskets, window boxes, edging, or the front of a mixed border. Its blue flowers provide seasonal color and can attract pollinators. ## Maintenance Water regularly and do not let the root ball dry out. After the first flush, shear or trim the plant lightly and continue watering to encourage fresh growth; avoid persistently soggy soil, which can lead to rot.
