Techno® Upright Cobalt Blue Lobelia

Techno® Upright Cobalt Blue is a compact annual lobelia selected for its upright growth and clear blue flowers. Syngenta lists the variety for part sun or full sun and describes it as heat tolerant, with early flowering and a compact habit. ## Growing Conditions The breeder lists an 8–12 inch garden height and a 16–20 inch garden width, with flowering from early spring through summer. Its published hardiness rating is USDA zone 11a. Keep the documented ranges in mind when choosing a planting space; mature size and flowering time can vary with conditions. ## Garden Use Use Techno® Upright Cobalt Blue in containers, hanging baskets, or mixed plantings where an upright form and blue flowers provide color. Syngenta also describes the series as suitable for high-density small pot production and notes its heat tolerance. ## Maintenance Provide part sun or full sun and water consistently, especially in containers during warm weather. Plant outdoors when seasonal temperatures suit this warm-climate annual.
