About Honeyrose Honeysuckle Shrub

Honeyrose is a vigorous, upright honeysuckle with deep pink flowers in late spring and red berries in fall. Corn Hill Nursery lists it for Zone 2 and about 3 m (10 ft), and recommends it for hedges, screens, and mass plantings. ## Flowers and site The nursery reports Russian aphid resistance and recommends moist, well-drained soil. It says the shrub grows well in full sun and tolerates some shade. Honeyrose was introduced by Bailey Nurseries in Minnesota. See the [Honeyrose Honeysuckle profile at Corn Hill Nursery](https://www.cornhillnursery.com/online-store/p/honeyrose) for its plant-specific details. ## Landscape use Use Honeyrose as a hedge, privacy screen, or mass planting. Leave room for a large shrub and consider its mature spread when planning a screen. Its late-spring flowers and red fall berries provide seasonal color on the same plant. ## Maintenance Keep soil moist but well drained, especially while the shrub establishes. Water during prolonged dry weather, and avoid planting where water remains around the roots. If the soil is acidic, Corn Hill notes that adding lime may improve growth; use a soil test to guide amendments.
