Staircase® Red/White - Lupinus

Staircase® Red/White is an upright perennial lupine in Green Fuse Botanicals’ Lupine Staircase series, listed for its red-and-white flowers. The series blooms in late spring and early summer; clone-specific height and spread are not given. ## Growing conditions Grow in sun or part shade in moist but well-drained, slightly acidic to neutral soil. Use it in a border or large container, staking flower stems in exposed sites. Lupines prefer good drainage and should not sit in saturated ground. ## Maintenance Remove spent spikes after flowering to encourage a possible second flush. Watch for aphids, slugs and snails, and avoid waterlogged soil. Keep the crown open to air and remove damaged foliage as needed.
