About Luscious® Citrus Blend Lantana

Luscious® Citrus Blend™ is a mounded lantana with clusters of red, orange and yellow flowers and dark green foliage. Proven Winners lists this named selection at about 20–30 inches tall and wide, with a long bloom season and strong heat and drought tolerance. ## Garden Use Use this vigorous selection in sunny borders, mass plantings and large containers where its continuous color can be appreciated. The flowers attract bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. Although grown as an annual in many temperate gardens, Lantana camara is a tender perennial in warm climates; protect it from frost and follow local guidance where the species is invasive. ## Growing Conditions Provide full sun and freely draining soil. Keep plants evenly watered during establishment, then allow the soil surface to dry somewhat between waterings; avoid prolonged waterlogging. The official Proven Winners profile gives a mature garden range of 20–30 inches, so allow room for a broad mound. The exact cultivar denomination is ‘Balandusbi’; the US plant patent is PP32,018, issued July 28, 2020, and Canada’s certificate is 6530. This spelling is confirmed by [Proven Winners](https://www.provenwinners.com/plants/lantana/luscious-citrus-blend-ii-lantana-camara), [CFIA](https://active.inspection.gc.ca/english/plaveg/pbrpov/cropreport/lan/app00011235e.shtml) and the [patent record](https://patents.justia.com/patent/PP32018). ## Maintenance Water regularly while roots establish and during prolonged hot, dry weather. Trim lightly to restore the mound if stems outgrow their space; remove spent clusters only when a tidier look is preferred.
