Luscious® Grape is a trailing lantana with lavender-purple flowers, green foliage, and a spilling habit. Proven Winners lists it at 10–14 inches tall with an 18–24 inch spread; stems can trail up to 36 inches. It is suited to USDA zones 9a–11b.
## Flowers and placement
The [Proven Winners plant page](https://www.provenwinners.com/plants/lantana/luscious-grape-lantana-montevidensis) identifies the cultivar as Lantana montevidensis ‘Robpwpur’ (USPP 19,357). It blooms in spring and summer, tolerates heat and drought, attracts birds, butterflies, and hummingbirds, and resists deer. Use it in hanging baskets, containers, window boxes, or as a landscape spiller.
## Maintenance
Grow in full sun and average soil. Water during establishment, then reduce watering in the landscape. Deadheading is not necessary, though trimming can shape the plant. Seed set varies; remove berries if you want to reduce self-seeding. In cold climates, grow it as a warm-season annual or protect containers from frost.
