Lysimachia congestiflora is a prostrate, mat-forming perennial that reaches just 3 to 6 inches in height while spreading vigorously via creeping stems that root at the nodes. Its lush, ovate foliage provides a dense green backdrop for terminal clusters of cup-shaped, bright yellow flowers that bloom from late spring through mid-summer. Ideal for rock gardens, border fronts, or cascading over container edges, it thrives in moist, well-drained soil under full sun to partial shade and is hardy to USDA zone 7.
