Introduced in the 1990s by University of Minnesota. Honeycrisp is a medium-to-large apple with a light green/yellow background covered with red-orange flush. Fruit is naturally large, crisp, juicy, with tangy sweetness. Fruit ripens early to mid-September. Excellent storage apple, retaining its crispness. Require pollenizer: Fuji, Gala, Granny Smith, Jonathan, Pink Lady, Pixie Crunch, Red Delicious, or Spartan.
