About Pink Pearl Apple Tree

Pink Pearl is an early-blooming dessert apple with pink spring flowers and aromatic fruit whose pale skin may carry a red blush while the flesh is bright pink; harvest is generally in late summer or early fall, and the cut fruit adds color to salads, sauce, and cider. A second apple variety with overlapping bloom is needed for pollination. [Dave Wilson Nursery](https://www.davewilson.com/nurseries/products/fruit-trees/apple/pink_pearl/) lists zones 4–8 and a pollenizer requirement, while [Raintree Nursery](https://raintreenursery.com/collections/fresh-eating/products/pink-pearl-apple-dwarf) describes its pink flesh, scab susceptibility, September ripening, and dwarf-rootstock size. ## Siting and fruit Plant in full sun with room appropriate to the rootstock. Mature size differs substantially between dwarf, semidwarf, and standard trees, so confirm the rootstock before planning spacing. Pair it with a compatible apple that flowers at the same time. Pick promptly as fruit ripens, since quality declines when apples linger on the tree. ## Maintenance Keep grass away from the root zone while the tree establishes, maintain even moisture, and prune to support airflow and harvest access. Monitor for apple scab and remove fallen fruit and leaves to keep the planting tidy.
