About Vintage Yellow Stock

Vintage Yellow Stock is a bedding stock in PanAmerican Seed’s Vintage series, grown as a cool-season annual. The series guide describes sturdy, well-branched plants for outdoor use, typically 15–20 inches tall and 12–14 inches wide. ## Growing conditions Choose a sunny site and schedule planting for cool conditions; the seed guide says this series needs no vernalization. Allow about four weeks for plug production and seven to eight weeks from transplant to finish. Its recommended spacing is 12–16 inches, distinct from the mature spread measurement. The nonselectable Vintage series produces more than 55% double flowers, so a crop can include both single and double blooms. Use the published spacing to plan beds or production rows, and adjust seasonal scheduling to local temperatures because this stock performs best in cool growing conditions. Remove spent stems to keep seasonal plantings tidy.
