Mojave® Red Purslane

Portulaca umbraticola 'POR1600', known as Mojave Red, is a vigorous, low-growing succulent annual featuring a trailing habit. It produces large, brilliant red flowers that open in the sun and close at night. Reaching 4 to 8 inches in height with a spread of up to 16 inches, it is exceptionally heat and drought tolerant. Ideal for hanging baskets, rock gardens, or as a colorful groundcover, it thrives in well-drained soil and requires minimal maintenance throughout the summer.
