Ziva is a paperwhite selection of Narcissus tazetta, grown for clusters of small, white, strongly fragrant flowers. It is often forced in containers for winter bloom, while outdoor performance depends on a suitable mild climate. ## Garden use
The RHS describes Ziva as a mid-spring bulb with several flowers on each stem. Arkansas Extension identifies it as an Israeli selection developed in the 1970s and notes that its fragrance is especially strong. The white flower clusters suit bowls, pots, and sheltered borders; for indoor display, bulbs can be planted close together in a shallow container with drainage or in a forcing medium.
## Maintenance
Plant outdoor bulbs in autumn at the depth recommended for their size and local conditions. Keep container bulbs evenly watered while roots and shoots develop, then provide bright light so flower stems remain sturdy. After flowering, remove spent blooms and let foliage yellow naturally before cutting it back; leaves replenish the bulb for the next cycle.
