Poetry™ Blue Nemesia

Poetry™ Blue is a compact, seed-raised nemesia selected for its blue flowers and bushy habit. PanAmerican Seed lists Poetry as an F1 series of *Nemesia foetans*; the [Ball Seed production guide](https://www.ballseed.com/PDF/2024_ProductInformationIGuide_English_PAS.pdf#page=56) identifies the series and gives seed-production guidance. ## Garden Character The Poetry series is marketed for spring and autumn bedding and small pots, with plants about 12–14 inches tall and 10–12 inches wide. The existing numeric dimensions and matching labels are retained. Blue and deep-pink forms provide distinct color choices while keeping the same series identity; the assigned product code remains in the scientific name to preserve the exact catalog selection. ## Siting and Season Nemesias perform best in cool weather. The [RHS growing guide](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/nemesia/how-to-grow-nemesia) recommends a sunny, free-draining position with fertile soil that stays moist. In heat, partial shade may extend light flowering; the Poetry series can flower in mild winter conditions, but seasonal display depends on climate. ## Maintenance Water container plants when the compost begins to dry, while avoiding waterlogged conditions. Pinching is not essential for the Poetry series, which branches freely. Protect plants from frost and treat them as seasonal bedding where winters are cold.
