Cape Jewels Nemesia

Nemesia strumosa, commonly known as Cape jewels, is a compact, bushy annual native to South Africa. It features lance-shaped, toothed leaves and produces a profusion of two-lipped, orchid-like flowers in a wide array of colors, including yellow, orange, and red. Ideal for borders, rock gardens, and containers, it thrives in cool-weather conditions and well-drained, moist soil. While it prefers full sun, it benefits from afternoon shade in hotter climates to prevent die-back.
