Limelight Catmint

Nepeta ‘Limelight’ is a very low catmint grown for chartreuse foliage and blue flowers. [Terra Nova Nurseries’ exact cultivar profile](https://www.terranovanurseries.com/product/nepeta-limelight/) lists a 6-inch height, 32-inch spread, 8-inch flowering height, and full-sun exposure. Its bloom season runs from June through October, and the profile recommends well-drained, low-organic soil. The wide, low habit suits sunny borders, path edges, mass plantings, and sunny banks. Terra Nova identifies this selection as drought tolerant and deer resistant, and lists average garden water, fast growth, and hummingbird and pollinator attraction. It gives USDA zones 5–9. The chartreuse foliage holds its color through summer, while blue flowers provide a contrasting seasonal display. ## Maintenance Provide full sun and good drainage. The source describes average garden water needs and drought tolerance; avoid persistently wet soil. This cultivar spreads broadly, so allow room for its 32-inch width.
