Little Trudy™ Catmint

Little Trudy® is the Plant Select® name for Nepeta ‘Psfike’ (PP 18,904), a compact catmint selected in Colorado. It forms serrated, silvery foliage and blue-lavender flowers from April until frost; the official listing gives a mature size of 8–14 inches tall by 12–14 inches wide and USDA zones 4–9. ## Garden Use The low, compact form suits the front of a sunny bed or other small-space plantings. Plant Select describes it as attractive to pollinators and resistant to deer and rabbits. See the [official Little Trudy® profile](https://plantselect.org/plant/nepeta-psfike-pp-18-904/) for selection details and growing guidance. ## Growing Conditions Grow in full sun or part sun. The profile lists clay, loam and sandy soil types and water needs from moderate to xeric, making this a useful option for a lower-water planting. Keep the soil free draining. ## Maintenance Cut plants back in July to encourage a bushier shape and continued flowering. Remove dead stems in spring; Plant Select describes this as a long-lived perennial.
