About Little Titch Catmint

Little Titch is a compact Nepeta racemosa that forms a low carpet of aromatic green to gray-green foliage with lavender-blue flowers in summer. The Royal Horticultural Society describes it as a perennial up to about 12 inches tall and suited to well-drained soil in full sun. ## Garden Use Its small, spreading carpet can cover the front of a border, a rock garden or a sunny patio container. The RHS also lists groundcover and wildlife gardens among suitable settings. See the [RHS plant profile for Little Titch](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/71006/nepeta-racemosa-little-titch/details). ## Growing Conditions Grow in full sun in well-drained soil. The RHS lists chalk, loam and sand as suitable soil types. Its lavender-blue flower spikes are a summer feature above the low foliage. ## Maintenance Trim the plant after flowering to keep it compact and encourage a second bloom.
