Twist of Pink™ is an evergreen oleander with deep pink summer flowers and creamy white variegated foliage. Its heat, drought, and salt tolerance suit warm, sunny gardens where a large flowering screen or accent is wanted. ## Garden use
Use this 6–8-foot shrub as a flowering hedge, mass planting, container specimen, or bold accent. The glossy green leaves have creamy white variegation, while clusters of deep pink flowers provide the summer display. Southern Living Plants lists it for USDA zones 8a–10b.
## Growing conditions
Plant in full sun and provide good drainage. Once established, it tolerates low-water conditions, heat, and salt exposure; water deeply after planting while it establishes. Southern Living Plants lists low water needs and identifies the selection as deer resistant, though browsing may still occur.
## Seasonal display
This evergreen shrub retains foliage year-round in suitable climates and flowers in summer. Its large dimensions and variegated leaves make it useful where a substantial, colorful screen is desired.
## Maintenance
Prune in early spring before the first flush to shape the plant. Southern Living Plants also recommends a yearly early-spring fertilizer application. Allow room for a mature spread of about 6–8 feet.
