Little Ollie® is Monrovia’s name for the dwarf olive cultivar Olea europaea ‘Montra’. It is a non-fruiting evergreen with a rounded, branching form and deep green leaves with silvery undersides. Monrovia describes it for hedges, containers, topiary, or training as a small single-trunk tree, and notes heat, drought, salt, and deer resistance. ## Form and siting
The plant reaches about 6 feet tall and wide. Monrovia lists USDA zones 8–11 and full sun. The dense evergreen foliage provides year-round structure where a fruitless olive form is preferred, including patios and smaller landscape spaces.
## Maintenance
Once established, water when very dry. Choose a sunny position and allow room for the mature six-foot spread. Monrovia introduced Little Ollie in 1987.
