About Bunny Ears Cactus

Opuntia microdasys, known as the Bunny Ears Cactus, is a multi-branched Mexican native forming dense, semi-erect clumps of velvety green pads. Lacking traditional spines, it is instead covered in distinctive polka-dot clusters of tiny, barbed glochids that detach easily. This slow-growing succulent reaches up to three feet in height and spreads widely, making it an excellent choice for xeriscaping or sunny containers. It thrives in full sun and well-draining soil with minimal water.
