About Oso Easy® En Fuego Rose

Oso Easy® En Fuego Rose is a deciduous landscape rose with glossy green foliage and large blooms that change color as they age. Flowers open with red and yellow tones, then mature to electric orange, bringing repeat color through summer and fall. ## Landscape Use At about 3–4 feet tall and 3 feet wide, this shrub fits a sunny border, mass planting, or large container. Allow roughly 3 feet between plants so air can move through the foliage. Bees and butterflies visit the flowers. ## Growing Conditions Choose a full-sun site with at least six hours of direct light. Proven Winners lists average to fertile soil and average water needs, with acidic to neutral soil pH. The mounded outline and glossy leaves give the plant structure between flushes of flowers. ## Maintenance In early spring, cut landscape roses in the Oso Easy series back by about half their height to encourage strong new growth. Deadheading is not needed; an optional granular rose fertilizer can be applied as growth resumes.
