Individual seedlings vary because this is a segregating mix. The product profile lists a mounded habit, 10–14 inches high and 14–20 inches wide, with flowering from early spring through late spring. ## Growing Conditions Grow in full sun. PanAmerican Seed lists USDA hardiness zones 9a–11. The Akila series branches without pinching, and its well-branched plants are described as drought tolerant once established. The producer also reports that Akila colors flower within a 7–10-day window across the series. ## Sources [PanAmerican Seed: Akila® Hawaii Sunset Mixture](https://www.panamseed.com/products/046106258049494/osteospermum-akila-hawaii-sunset-mixture/) ## Maintenance Water regularly while plants establish. Afterward, let the soil dry somewhat between waterings in a sunny, well-drained planting. Remove spent flowers if you want a tidier display.
