Ostica™DE Aurora African Daisy

Ostica™DE Aurora is Danziger’s Aurora selection of Osteospermum ecklonis. Its official profile describes a controlled, semi-trailing plant with a mounded shape, large single flowers and early flowering. [Danziger: OSTICADE™ Aurora](https://www.danzigeronline.com/catalog/annuals/osticade-aurora/) ## Form and Use The plant is listed at 8–10 inches tall and 12–14 inches wide. Danziger describes the controlled semi-trailing habit as suitable for baskets and lists pots, hanging baskets and landscape planting. It is offered as a callused cutting. The profile also notes that the crop can be grown in a warm greenhouse without cold treatment. ## Seasonal Growing Danziger presents Aurora in its annuals range. In gardens with winter frost, use it for seasonal displays rather than relying on it to overwinter outdoors. Its compact dimensions and basket suitability also make it useful where a neat, contained flowering plant is wanted. ## Sources [Danziger: OSTICADE™ Aurora](https://www.danzigeronline.com/catalog/annuals/osticade-aurora/) ## Maintenance Allow space for the 12–14 inch spread, and remove spent flowers as needed to keep container or landscape displays tidy.
