Ostica™DE Daybreak African Daisy

OsticaDE™ Daybreak is a named African daisy selection in Danziger’s OsticaDE series. Danziger describes its controlled, semi-trailing growth as suitable for baskets and lists a mounded habit, large single flowers, heat tolerance, and use in pots, hanging baskets, and landscapes. The grower profile gives an 8–10 inch height and 12–14 inch width. Danziger also notes that this crop needs no cold treatment and can be grown in a warm greenhouse with other annuals. The exact selection page identifies it as “OSTICADE™ Daybreak”; the current scientific-name field preserves the catalog’s OsticaDE selection wording. Flowering time is listed as “Early,” without a calendar season, so no spring or summer period is inferred. Follow local growing conditions for watering and greenhouse or outdoor timing; Danziger’s page supplies no exact irrigation schedule or USDA hardiness zone. The semi-trailing stems can be allowed to spill over a basket edge, while the mounded habit fills the center. Check the named cultivar label when sourcing to distinguish Daybreak from other OsticaDE selections.
