Ostica™DE Yellow African Daisy

OsticaDE™ Yellow is a named African daisy selection in Danziger’s OSTICADE series. Danziger identifies Osteospermum ecklonis and describes controlled semi-trailing growth suited to baskets. The exact selection page lists a mounded habit, single large flowers, an 8–10 inch height, and a 12–14 inch width, with use in pots, hanging baskets, and landscapes. Danziger offers the crop as a callused cutting and says it can be grown in a warm greenhouse alongside other annuals without cold treatment. The page lists flowering time as “Early,” without assigning a calendar season, so no spring or summer bloom period is inferred. The controlled semi-trailing stems can spill over a basket edge while the mounded habit fills the center. Danziger does not provide a USDA hardiness zone or an exact irrigation schedule on this page. Follow current grower guidance and local weather when deciding outdoor timing and watering. Retain the OsticaDE Yellow name to distinguish this selection from the other OsticaDE colors.
