Voltage Yellow African Daisy

Voltage™ Yellow is the Ball Seed trade name for the Osteospermum selection ‘Balvoyelo’. The [Canadian Food Inspection Agency record](https://active.inspection.gc.ca/english/plaveg/pbrpov/cropreport/ost/app00007598e.shtml) connects that formal denomination to the Voltage Yellow trade name and describes yellow ray florets. Ball Seed’s [exact plant listing](https://info.ballseed.com/PlantInfo/?phid=046105898006060) identifies the selection as an African daisy with mounded-to-spreading growth, sun exposure, a 10–16-inch height range, and a 24–28-inch width range. Ball also lists drought tolerance and deer resistance. The scientific name uses the formal cultivar denomination, while Voltage Yellow remains the familiar display name. ## Maintenance Choose a sunny site and well-drained soil. Ball Seed lists drought tolerance, but newly planted and container-grown plants still need appropriate establishment watering. The [RHS species profile](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/46928/osteospermum-ecklonis/details) provides general ecklonis guidance and notes that deadheading can prolong flowering.
