About Voltage™ Yellow African Daisy

Voltage™ Yellow is the Balvoyelo African daisy, a mounding warm-season plant with bright yellow flowers. It is grown as an annual in cooler climates and can persist as a perennial in frost-free conditions. ([Monrovia](https://www.monrovia.com/voltagetm-yellow-african-daisy.html), [RHS](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/536857/dimorphotheca-voltage-yellow-balvoyelo-voltage-series/details)) ## Garden Use Use it along a sunny border, at the edge of a bed, or in a container or hanging basket. Monrovia reports a mature height of 10–16 inches and a spread of 24–28 inches, so leave room for the plant to broaden as it flowers. ## Growing Conditions Plant in full sun and well-drained soil. Water regularly to keep the soil slightly moist, especially during active growth in hot weather. Flowers appear from spring through fall; they may pause during extreme heat and resume when conditions moderate. ## Maintenance Clip faded flower stems to keep the plant tidy. A light midseason trim can renew growth and support continued flowering. Feed monthly during active growth if the container or bed is not already fertile.
