Peony 'Clouds of Color' is an intersectional, or Itoh, peony selected for salmon-toned flowers and deeply divided foliage. The US-spelled name appears in a 2022 peony list. An RHS profile titled “Clouds of Colour (I)” describes salmon outer petals with rose-pink centers. The [RHS profile]() describes fragrant semi-double blooms, while a 2022 [Stockholm Gardens peony list]() records the US spelling, soft salmon flowers with bluish-pink inner petals, and a midseason bloom.
## Flowers and form
The existing approximate size values are retained: the Stockholm list gives about 30 inches, and the RHS listing gives a mature height and spread of 0.5–1 m. Intersectional peonies combine herbaceous and tree-peony ancestry, but this entry keeps its cultivar identity without assigning undocumented parentage.
## Growing conditions
Provide sun or light shade and fertile soil that drains well. The [RHS growing guide]() advises avoiding deep planting and waterlogged ground for herbaceous and intersectional peonies.
## Maintenance
Keep newly planted peonies watered while they establish, then water during prolonged dry weather. In autumn, remove herbaceous growth after it dies back, following the [RHS growing guide]().
