About Peony 'Do Tell'

Do Tell is a named peony cultivar with pale pink outer petals and a darker center accented by cream and deeper pink tones. This clump-forming perennial flowers in early summer and works well in a border or as a cut flower. ## Flowers and placement The American Peony Society lists Do Tell as an Auten introduction from 1946 in the Lactiflora group and records its contrasting pale and darker pink flower coloring. The Royal Horticultural Society describes a clump-forming plant with mid-green divided leaves, reaching about 0.5–1 m in height and spread. Choose a sheltered position and allow the clump to remain undisturbed once established. Water during extended dry periods, especially while the plant is establishing. ## Maintenance Remove faded flowers if desired, then cut the plant back as its foliage dies down in autumn. Keep healthy leaves through the growing season to support the perennial roots.
