About Peony 'Sorbet'

Paeonia 'Sorbet' is a clump-forming peony with dark-green, divided leaves and strongly scented flowers. The [RHS plant profile](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/116257/paeonia-sorbet/details) describes pale-pink outer petals, a white layer and pink petals at the center, with flowers in early summer. ## Garden use The layered pink-and-white blooms stand out in cottage-style borders and can be cut for indoor arrangements. The RHS lists a mature height of 85 cm and a spread range of 0.5–1 m, so leave room for a rounded clump and its divided foliage. ## Growing conditions Choose full sun or partial shade and deep, fertile soil that stays moist but drains well. Peonies are long-lived and resent disturbance; the [RHS herbaceous-peony guide](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/peony/herbaceous) provides further planting and care advice. ## Maintenance Remove dead flowers as they fade, then cut the foliage back in autumn after it dies down.
