Majestic Giants II Blotch Mix Pansy

Majestic Giants II Blotch Mix is a large-flowered pansy mix in the F1 Viola × wittrockiana series. Its flowers carry contrasting dark blotches, and the mix combines colors from the breeder’s blotched selections. The series is bred for vigorous plants and seasonal color in spring and fall. Sakata lists an 8-inch plant height and reports very large flowers; a grower catalog gives a 6-to-8-inch height and an 8-to-10-inch spread for Majestic Giants II. These are approximate garden dimensions and can vary with planting date, temperature and growing conditions. In temperate climates it may continue flowering through winter, while colder sites commonly see renewed bloom as spring temperatures rise. Choose a bright location and keep soil evenly moist while the plants establish. ## Maintenance Remove faded flowers to keep the display neat and encourage continued bloom. Replace plants when warmer weather brings them to the end of their season, and avoid allowing containers to dry completely.
