Calliope® Medium Crimson Flame is a red-bicolor interspecific geranium in the Calliope Medium series. Syngenta lists a mounding habit and a garden size of 14–18 inches tall by 16–20 inches wide, with flowers from mid-spring through summer. The medium-sized selection fits containers, hanging baskets and landscape combinations. Syngenta describes this selection as heat loving and pollinator friendly; its medium habit works well in a patio pot or mixed planting with similar light needs. ## Maintenance Plant in fertile, well-drained soil. Check container soil often and water when the surface begins to dry, especially during hot weather. In garden beds, water deeply during prolonged dry spells while allowing excess moisture to drain. Remove faded flower clusters for a neat appearance.
