The listed habit is mounding, with mature garden dimensions of 14–18 inches tall by 16–20 inches wide and hardiness zone 10a. Syngenta lists containers, hanging baskets, patio pots, landscapes, and combination plantings as uses; allow room for the mound to fill without crowding nearby plants. ## Flowering The Calliope Medium Hot Pink selection is listed as pink/rose and medium in vigor. The product page identifies it as heat-loving and pollinator friendly, and lists its flowering window as mid-spring, late spring, and summer. The series description notes large, semi-double flowers and strong color through the season. ## Maintenance The Calliope Medium culture notes say pinching is not needed. Keep the mound from being crowded in combination plantings; Syngenta notes that tight spacing and overhead irrigation can encourage Botrytis. Check container moisture during warm weather and allow excess water to drain.
