Calliope® Medium Pink Flame Geranium

Calliope® Medium Pink Flame is an interspecific geranium selected for pink-and-rose bicolor flowers. Syngenta lists a mounding habit and a mature range of 14–18 inches tall by 16–20 inches wide; flowering is listed from mid-spring through summer. The series is described as producing semi-double flowers over a long season. ## Flowers and placement Its bicolor blooms add a soft accent to patio pots, medium containers, and sunny mixed plantings. Syngenta lists part sun to full sun and notes the series’ pollinator appeal. Leave room for the plant to fill out as a mound. ## Growing conditions Pelargoniums generally grow best in bright light and well-drained soil. Water during establishment and prolonged dry spells, checking pots more often than in-ground plantings because containers can dry quickly. ## Maintenance Remove faded blooms and damaged leaves as needed, and keep excess water draining freely.
