Calliope® Medium Red Geranium

Calliope® Medium Red is an interspecific geranium with red flowers and a mounding habit. Its published mature range is 14–18 inches tall and 16–20 inches wide, with flowering listed from mid-spring into summer. Syngenta describes Calliope Medium as a season-long flowering series for medium-sized pots and garden impact. ## Flowers and placement The red blooms create a bright accent in containers, patio pots, and sunny beds. The selection page lists part sun to full sun and pollinator appeal; allow space for the rounded mound to develop. ## Growing conditions Pelargoniums generally prefer bright light and well-drained soil. Water while plants establish and during extended dry periods, checking containers regularly because potting mixes can dry faster than garden beds. ## Maintenance Remove faded flowers and damaged foliage as needed. Avoid waterlogged soil and adjust watering to rainfall, temperature, and container size.
