Calliope® Medium Violet Geranium

Calliope® Medium Violet is an interspecific geranium selected for purple, lavender, and violet flowers. Syngenta lists a mounding habit and a mature range of 14–18 inches tall by 16–20 inches wide. The selection flowers from mid-spring into summer; the broader Calliope Medium series is presented as a long-season flowering choice. ## Flowers and placement Use the violet blooms in medium pots, patio containers, or sunny mixed plantings. The official profile lists part sun to full sun and pollinator appeal. Allow enough space for a full mound to develop. ## Growing conditions Pelargoniums generally grow best in bright light and well-drained soil. Water during establishment and longer dry spells, checking containers regularly because they dry faster than garden soil. ## Maintenance Remove faded flowers or damaged leaves as needed and maintain good drainage.
