Create design onlineAbout Mojo™ Scarlet Geranium
Mojo™ Scarlet is a red-flowering interspecific geranium with a compact, mounding and upright habit. Syngenta lists a 12–16 inch garden height and spread, part sun to full sun, mid-spring through summer flowering, and hardiness zone 10a for this selection.
## Placement
Use it for a sunny patio pot, a container grouping, or the front of a warm-climate seasonal bed. Its medium vigor and tidy branching suit mixed plantings where a rounded plant can provide sustained color; leave room for a spread of about 12–16 inches.
## Growing Conditions
Mojo is sold as an annual and is selected for heat tolerance. Annual geraniums grow best in fertile, well-drained soil; Iowa State recommends full sun for most types, while this selection also tolerates part sun. In beds, water during dry spells; containers dry faster and need more frequent checks. ## Maintenance
Remove faded flower stems to keep the plant tidy and encourage continued display. Check container moisture regularly in hot weather, and avoid wetting the foliage when watering.
