Cascade Dark Red Geranium

Cascade Dark Red combines a trailing ivy-geranium habit with deep red single flowers. Syngenta lists the selection in its Cascade series and recommends the trailing plants for baskets and window boxes; the product page gives a mature height of 12–16 inches and width of 20–24 inches. The exact selection page lists part sun to full sun and flowering from mid-spring through summer. Its hardiness listing is 10a, so grow it as a seasonal annual in colder regions. ## Maintenance Choose a well-drained container mix and water as the surface begins to dry, adjusting checks during warm, sunny weather. Empty standing water from saucers after irrigation. [Syngenta Flowers]( https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70059624 ) describes the Cascade series as floriferous, with a vigorous trailing habit.
