Maverick™ Coral Pelargonium

Maverick™ Coral is an upright zonal geranium selected for coral-colored flowers. Syngenta lists it at 14–16 inches tall and 12–14 inches wide, with flowering from mid-spring through summer. Its vigorous growth and large blooms suit sunny borders and patio containers. ## Placement Grow in full sun. Use the upright form in a garden bed or a pot where the flowers are easy to see. ([Syngenta Flowers](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70020467)) ## Care Plant in well-drained soil or potting mix and water regularly, particularly in containers during warm weather. Iowa State Extension notes that annual geraniums flower less in reduced sunlight and that container-grown plants need frequent watering during hot, dry conditions. ([Iowa State University Extension](https://yardandgarden.extension.iastate.edu/how-to/growing-annual-geraniums)) ## Maintenance Check the growing mix often and water thoroughly when it begins to dry. Remove spent flowers and trim the plant as needed to keep its upright shape.
