Maverick™ Scarlet Picotee Pelargonium

Maverick™ Scarlet Picotee is an upright zonal pelargonium in the Maverick series, with a red-toned selection name. Syngenta lists this exact cultivar as a full-sun, pollinator-friendly annual that flowers from mid-spring through summer; its product page gives a mature height of 14–16 inches and width of 12–14 inches. [Syngenta Flowers]( https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70035176 ) ## Placement Use it in a sunny border or container, where its upright shape can add height to a mixed annual planting. The cultivar name distinguishes Scarlet Picotee from Maverick Scarlet; retain the selection label when sourcing or planning a planting. ## Maintenance Grow in well-drained soil and water moderately. For container plants, allow the mix to dry somewhat between waterings and keep drainage holes clear. [North Carolina Extension Gardener Plant Toolbox]( https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/pelargonium-x-hybridum/ ) offers general care guidance for zonal pelargoniums, including full sun, good drainage, and seasonal annual use.
