Maverick™ Violet Picotee Pelargonium

Maverick™ Violet Picotee is an upright, full-sun zonal geranium in Syngenta Flowers’ Maverick series. The exact breeder page identifies this named Violet Picotee selection and lists it at 14–16 inches tall and 12–14 inches wide, flowering from mid-spring through summer. ([Syngenta Flowers](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70045907)) ## Placement Grow it in a sunny bed or container with moist, fertile, well-drained soil. Syngenta describes the Maverick series as vigorous and free flowering, with large flowers and strong performance in larger pots. ## Care Plant outdoors after frost danger has passed. Iowa State University Extension notes that annual geraniums need full sun for best flowering and adapt well to containers. Water beds during dry periods; container plants need more frequent checks in warm, dry weather. Avoid persistently wet soil. ([Iowa State University Extension](https://yardandgarden.extension.iastate.edu/how-to/growing-annual-geraniums)) ## Maintenance Remove faded flower stalks to support continued flowering and keep the plant tidy. Keep this selection distinct from the other Maverick color varieties.
