Maverick™ White Pelargonium

Maverick™ White is an upright, full-sun zonal geranium selected for white flowers. Syngenta lists it at 14–16 inches tall and 12–14 inches wide, with flowering from mid-spring through summer. It brings a light flower color to sunny beds and containers. ([Syngenta Flowers](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70007887)) ## Placement Choose a sunny position with moist, fertile, well-drained soil. The breeder describes the Maverick series as vigorous and free flowering, and notes its suitability for larger pots as well as garden displays. ## Care Plant outdoors after frost danger has passed. Iowa State University Extension notes that annual geraniums flower less with reduced sunlight and perform well in containers. Water beds during dry periods; check container soil more often in hot, dry weather, and allow excess water to drain. ([Iowa State University Extension](https://yardandgarden.extension.iastate.edu/how-to/growing-annual-geraniums)) ## Maintenance Remove faded flower stalks to encourage continued display. Water thoroughly when needed, then let excess drain.
