Pinto™ Premium Deep Red is an upright zonal geranium with deep red flowers. Syngenta describes this seed-grown annual as 14–16 inches tall and 12–14 inches wide, flowering from mid-spring through summer in full sun; its product page also identifies it as pollinator friendly. The assigned selection and code are Pinto™ Premium Deep Red, 70006959. ## Placement The saturated red color works as a focal point in sunny seasonal borders and container combinations. Its listed size suits mixed pots and the front or middle of a flower bed. Syngenta’s [Pinto™ Premium Deep Red product details](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70006959) give the selection, habit, dimensions, exposure, and flowering period. ## Maintenance Plant in full sun in well-drained soil or potting mix. Water when the surface begins to dry and avoid leaving containers standing in water; pots may need more frequent checks during hot weather. The [NC State Extension geranium guide](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/pelargonium-x-hybridum/) recommends sunny, well-drained growing conditions for zonal geraniums. Remove faded flower clusters when desired to maintain a tidy display.
