Quantum™ Red Geranium

Quantum™ Red is a red-flowered zonal geranium in the Pelargonium × hortorum group. It brings seasonal color to sunny beds and containers; the assigned Syngenta product identity is Quantum Red, code 70092129. ([Syngenta Flowers](https://www.syngentaflowers-us.com/product/flower/70092129)) ## Placement Most annual geraniums grow well in full sun and can be used in containers. Choose moist, fertile, well-drained soil and leave space for air movement around the plant. ## Care Set outdoors after frost danger has passed. Iowa State University Extension advises watering bed-grown geraniums during dry periods and checking containers more often in hot, dry weather. Let excess water drain and avoid persistently wet soil. ([Iowa State University Extension](https://yardandgarden.extension.iastate.edu/how-to/growing-annual-geraniums)) ## Maintenance Remove faded flower stalks to keep the display tidy. Water thoroughly when needed, then allow the growing medium to drain.
