Americana® White Splash Geranium

Americana® White Splash is retained as the original white-flowered zonal geranium selection, product code 70020558. Its exact trade name and code identify this selection; this profile uses general zonal geranium growing guidance and does not assign measurements or a hardiness range. [NC State Extension: Zonal Pelargonium](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/pelargonium-x-hybridum/). ## Placement Grow in full sun and well-drained soil. Zonal geraniums can be used in garden beds or containers; in insufficient light, plants may become leggy and flower poorly. The white flower color is part of the assigned selection name. ## Maintenance Once established, zonal geraniums tolerate drought, but moderate moisture supports more luxuriant growth and flowering. Container plants may dry between waterings. NC State describes zonal pelargonium as low maintenance and often grown as an annual or houseplant; protect outdoor plants from frost.
