About Tango™ Orange Geranium

The Tango™ Orange zonal geranium brings orange/peach/apricot flower clusters to seasonal garden displays. Syngenta lists the Tango series as compact and upright, blooming from mid-spring through summer; this selection is listed at about 10–12 inches tall and wide. ([Syngenta Flowers: Tango™ Orange](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70004120)) ## Garden Use Use this zonal geranium in patio pots, mixed containers, or garden beds. The Rose Splash page lists exposure as sun or shade; the other Tango selections list part sun and full sun. Plant outdoors after frost danger has passed, and allow room for the listed mature size. ([Iowa State University Extension](https://yardandgarden.extension.iastate.edu/how-to/growing-annual-geraniums)) ## Growing Conditions Choose fertile, well-drained soil. Water garden beds during dry periods and check containers frequently in warm weather, since pots dry faster. Direct water toward the soil and allow excess to drain freely. ## Maintenance Remove faded flower stalks at the base to keep plants tidy and encourage continued bloom. Before frost, healthy annual geraniums may be moved indoors as potted plants or saved from cuttings.
