About HoneyCluster™ Mix Pentas

HoneyCluster™ Mix is an upright, heat-loving Pentas lanceolata selected for mixed flower color and extended warm-season display. Its raised flower umbels and vigorous growth suit medium-sized containers as well as larger garden beds. ## Flowers and uses Syngenta lists HoneyCluster Mix as product 70069303 and describes the series as an early, uniform flowering crop with showy umbels held above the foliage. Syngenta also lists individual color variants, while this record is the Mix selection. The official listing gives a garden height of 35–40 cm and width of 35–45 cm, with flowering from mid-spring through summer. [Syngenta HoneyCluster Mix](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/apac/product/flower/70069303). ## Growing Plant in full sun and well-drained soil. Pentas perform well in containers and massed beds; University of Florida IFAS recommends planting in late spring, watering regularly while plants establish, and watering when rainfall is limited afterward. Pentas can persist as perennials in warm parts of Florida but may die back after freezes elsewhere, so use HoneyCluster as seasonal color where winters are cold. [UF/IFAS Pentas care](https://gardeningsolutions.ifas.ufl.edu/plants/ornamentals/pentas/). ## Maintenance Keep containers draining freely and check them during hot, dry weather so the root zone does not dry completely. Remove faded flower clusters as needed to keep the display tidy.
