## Flowers and uses
PanAmerican Seed lists this exact color selection as PAS1096468, with late-spring and summer flowers, an upright habit and sun exposure. The product page describes quick follow-up blooms and a tidy, compact form; it also gives the selection’s mature height and width ranges. ## Growing
Grow in full sun and well-drained soil. Water regularly while plants establish, then water when rainfall is limited. University of Florida IFAS notes that pentas work in containers and mass plantings and may grow as perennials in warm Florida sites, but can die back after freezes. Texas Tech reports species-level USDA hardiness of 9–11 and high heat tolerance; in colder climates this selection is best used as seasonal annual color. ## Maintenance
Keep containers draining freely and check moisture during hot, dry weather. A light early pinch can encourage branching if a fuller shape is wanted. The flowers provide a source of nectar for visiting butterflies and hummingbirds.
