Lucky Star® Violet Pentas

Lucky Star® Violet is a compact, upright pentas selected for its violet flowers and quick repeat bloom. It brings late-spring and summer color to sunny planting areas, with a tidy habit suited to containers and seasonal displays. ## Season and placement PanAmerican Seed lists this variety for sun and describes a tight, compact plant with follow-up blooms that maintain color through the growing season. Use the stated exposure and allow space for the plant’s upright flower clusters; the breeder lists Egyptian Starcluster and Starflower among the common names for Pentas lanceolata. See the [Lucky Star® Violet product profile](https://www.panamseed.com/products/048007736005764/pentas-lucky-star-violet/) for the cultivar’s details. ## Size and color The listed garden size is 12–16 inches tall and 12–14 inches wide. Violet is the named color for this selection. Its late-spring and summer flowering period and compact growth make it a useful seasonal accent where steady color is wanted. ## Maintenance The breeder describes the series as staying compact with minimal work and producing fast follow-up blooms. Remove faded flower clusters if a tidier appearance is desired, and keep the plant in a sunny position as recommended by PanAmerican Seed.
