Blanket® Lemon Glow is Green Fuse Botanicals’ named Lemon Glow variety in its Blanket® petunia series (PBLYG39-0). Green Fuse lists this selection and describes the series as a spreading summer petunia for beds and large containers, typically 6–8 inches tall with a 36-inch spread. [Green Fuse’s Blanket page](https://green-fuse.com/new/petunia-blanket/) and [2021–22 catalog](https://green-fuse.com/new/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/GreenFuse-Catalog-2021-22_xs.pdf) identify the named offering and series scale.
Give the wide-spreading plant room at the edge of a sunny bed or in a generous mixed container. Petunias grow best in full sun and porous, well-drained soil; maintain moderate fertility and avoid persistently wet soil. [Green Fuse’s current culture sheet](https://green-fuse.com/new/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/Petunia-Blanket%C2%AE.pdf) recommends watering thoroughly and allowing the medium to dry between irrigations.
## Maintenance
Water regularly during hot, dry weather, while allowing excess water to drain freely. Deadheading is optional for petunias, though it can improve appearance and flowering; if growth becomes leggy, trim the plant back to renew it. Root rot and Botrytis are more likely in wet conditions or with overwatering. [University of Missouri Extension](https://extension.missouri.edu/news/new-petunias-pack-a-punch-of-color)
